What is the difference between a learning center and a daycare facility?

A daycare provides care for your child when you can’t, while a learning center’s emphasis is on education while providing care for your child adhering to all the safety and security required by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

How do you handle food allergies or dietary concerns?

Our intent is to include each and every child in meal time, while also providing the necessary safety precautions for children with allergies. Our dietary aids are versed in food preparation with a protocol on food allergies.

What is your background check policy?

Each staff member is background checked and also fingerprinted to ensure they meet state and federal guidelines. References are a must for every new employee.

Do you potty train?

Potty training is different for each child based on parent preference. We endeavor to replicate what is being done at home in order to provide a smooth transition from diapers to the toilet.

May I visit my child at the center?

We have an open door policy for parents. We encourage you to observe and engage in activities.

Does the center close during inclement weather?

We follow the same closing policy as the Mayfield Central School since this is the safest manner in these situations.
